Claire Spencer 

 

Claire is a printmaker, who lives and works in Llanddeusant, Carmarthenshire. Originally from Devon, she moved to Wales in 2006. Claire trained in Metalwork and Jewellery at Loughborough University, followed by an MA

in Goldsmithing, Silversmithing, Metalwork and Jewellery at the Royal College of Art.

 

Since moving to Wales, printmaking has become the main form of creative output from her rural home studio. Referencing mid-century design and with a love of colour, Claire makes linocuts and screen prints inspired by nature and the simplicity of Scandinavian design.
