Paul Davies 

 

Paul is a local woodturner and craftsman, using mainly wood that he forages from the landscape and gardens in and around where he lives at Cwmdu.

​

His beautiful tree decorations are made from Ash, Cherry, Banksia, Yew, Oak, Smoke Bush, Weeping Pear, Alder, spalted Birch, Eucalyptus and more.

 

The sea urchin decorations have variously Yew, Wenge and Holly caps and finials. They have been decorated with gilding flakes.

 

Paul’s pens have been made out of, again variously, gunmetal, rhodium, platinum & black titanium with Yew, Cocobolo, Coolibah Burr and Red Deer antler to describe just a few.
